BECAUSE I WILL NOT FORGET YOU

Catching up with an old friend is always excites me, especially a childhood friend from another part of the world. Maybe for some people it's not necessary to have some partial reunion with an old friend, but for me it really is necessary, because ever since I moved to Jakarta, I lost contact with most of my childhood friends from my hometown, where I spend my first fifteen years of my life there. But thank you to the existence of Facebook, Twitter and other social media, finally I could catch up on them and gladly now my two best friends are my childhood friends.

Long story short, yesterday I finally had a small reunion with my childhood friends, and one of them I've never seen since our elementary school graduation, she lives in London town and currently in Jakarta for holiday only. We've met and strolled around the mall and ended up with nothing to do, so we decided to try the hippest bar and restaurant in Jakarta, the one and only SKYE, on 56th floor BCA tower (I thought at first it's on 57th, errr.. or some number around it). If you don't know about this place, go googling, because for now it's the highest, hippest, and the most famous bar and restaurant located in Jakarta, please poke me if I'm wrong. Turns out I like this place, its ambiance and Forget Me Not mocktails taste really good.

We had so much fun last night, from updating news about our childhood friends and of course talking about London. I wish I could visit this city in the near time and continuing our chit chat session not in Jakarta, but in London. *finger crossed*
