THIS IS IT
Now I couldn't ask for more. After years wanting to have my own personal dressing table as I've seen in Ikea a couple years ago, finally today I just finished built it. Ta daaaa...
Turns out I'm fully satisfied with my new dressing/study table. But why 'dressing/study' instead of dressing or study itself? I want both and I don't have enough spaces in my room for both. So I built one and using it for two different purposes, now I could working on my beauty routine while still busying with my notebook, vice versa.
Finding the right thing as you wish isn't always easy, but the right thing is always worth the wait. I started the idea to make a dressing table a couple years ago when I first found this vintage frame in Ikea Singapore and fell in love at the first time without thinking much about how to carry it on my way back home with budget airline (of course with limited luggage allowance). I even planned to leave it under my hotel's bed just after I found out this vintage frame was bigger than my luggage case. But after all that drama, I decided to bring along the mirror and thank God now it safely hanging on my wall. Afterwards step by step I started looking for wallpaper with similar theme and applied it all by myself, randomly bought the afternoon tea tier rack and today finally bought the perfect table to complete the set. I've been looking for this kind of table, perfect shape, useful yet worth the price for quiet some time and when I finally saw it I felt like 'this is it' and the wait is over. :)
