Rise and Shine, 2012!

Happy new year 2012! It's the first day of the year 2012. How was it? For me it was all day at home and having a good time surrounded by my lovely family. Couldn't ask for more. And you know what, it's been a couple days I've been waiting and looking for time to write on my blog via PC, and this is usually happen when I already had  the material to write about. But since there's only one PC in our home and there're two major user, me and my brother in law, we shared and he's been busy upgrading his iPad software lately, so I chose to stay away from our computer's table for awhile until tonight. So it's gonna be a quick update yet extra long post.

The first day of 2012 and don't have any serious list I used to make every year for my goal of the year. But for sure, 2011 has been a great year for me, many good things, problems and hard decisions I've  been through last year will be a priceless experience and useful as my guidance for this year ahead. And for this year I have the biggest theme above all resolutions I might make, BEING HAPPY. Yes, as simple as it. It doesn't mean I never been happy for the past years, I just wanna be happier than before. I believe many good things will comes afterward if we have a positive behavior.

And as a quick summary for the year that was and what did I get up to in the past 12 months, here are some highlights:
*Traveling to Hongkong and Macau for the first time and had a one day escape to Dysneyland
*Bought my first camera ever
*Bought my first iPhone and decided to left my blackberry behind
*Made Clameter, my own online store, and had a positive feedback from customer is everything for me!
*Three of my bestfriends getting married!
*For the first time mutated as a HRD staff on my previous company, which clearly opened my eyes and realizing HRD might be just a career option for a Psychology's graduate like me and it's not a sin if you want to try another area for your career
*Being a risk taker and decided to resign from my previous job then applied for Working Holiday visa to Australia and started a very different life in Brisbane
*Had a chance to traveling to some part of Australia and still some places waiting to be visited soon*Having another nephew and this one is the lucky number 7th
*Last but not least, being around my besties, family and beloved friends and spending much time with them

And for New Year's Eve, I manage to had a picnic at the park in Southbank Parkland, the main point for New Year's Eve here in Brisbane and counting till 2012 to start with my best woman, my mom! This was my first time spending new year's overseas and it was really really great. and I hope all greatness ahead for all of us! Happy New Year!

PS: All this situation (shared PC at home) really makes me thinking to save more money and buying a notebook very soon. Sometimes it feels like a writer without having a piece of paper to write on. Ok. Now I already have my other resolution for this year, buying a notebook for myself.
