The Queen

After standing with forty five thousand of people and waiting for one hour on a sunny day, I finally met the Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh at their public walk on Monday, 24th October. I thought rather than going to UK, I managed myself and asked one of my friend to join me to see their public walk on Southbank and fortunately it's near my apartment. Even after waiting for an hour, we only could see The Queen for about three minutes, but not as lucky as I am, my friend only saw The Queen from the big screen near the area. Hmm.. I'm quite proud with my ability to slip among the crowd and successfully standing not too far from the front area. A little information about The Queen, this was her sixteenth visit to Australia and many people from media said it might be her last visit, because she is already 85 years old now. So there were many people from different area near Brisbane came to Brisbane just for her, from kids to grandmothers, with all flags and lady like outfits look a like The Queen.
